About me
| My name is Connie or Conchan or Woncon (like wonton). I'm currently a Middler/3rd year at Northeastern University working towards a BFA in Graphic Design and Multimedia Studies. Though I'm living in Boston now, I call Pittsburgh my home and Hong Kong my motherland. I love to tinker with things and have am self-taught when it comes to design software, web markup languages and conventions, and computers and technology in general. When I was eight or so, I created my own website using pieces of HTML I gathered by examining others' sites. That's how I got started in "the business". To this day I enjoy finding out about new advances and trying to figure them out on my own. Most of my work experience is in graphic design, though I am currently venturing into new territories with motion graphics. I've been very fortunate to intern, to work and to collect valuable experiences. Thus far, I have worked in a variety of outlets ranging from billboards and transit art to traditional print media to the digital realm. I know I still have a lot to learn and am looking forward to expanding and improving my skill sets. This portfolio will hopefully reflect my progress. If I wasn't trying to forge a life in digital designs, I would probably have been an astronaut or an archeologist. In my spare time, I like to pretend I'm both by living vicariously on Wikipedia. |
